Provect LTD (company number NI742298), registered in Northern Ireland, is the data controller for anything collected through provect.co.uk.
What we collect
- The enquiry form: your name, email address, company name if you give one, and whatever you write in the message.
- The newsletter: your email address, if you sign up.
- Page analytics: aggregated counts of which pages get read. No advertising cookies, no tracking you across other sites.
Why we use it
We use what you send us to reply to you, and if it goes further, to discuss and deliver the work. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest for answering a business enquiry, and consent for the newsletter. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for marketing.
Who processes it
Messages travel through our email and hosting providers and end up in our business email account. Booking a call goes through Calendly, which handles what you type there under its own privacy notice.
The enquiry and newsletter forms are checked by Cloudflare Turnstile, which tells a person apart from a bot before we accept a submission. To do that, Cloudflare receives your IP address and some technical detail about your browser. Cloudflare acts as our processor for this and does not use it to profile you or serve you adverts. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for up to 24 months after we last hear from you, unless it becomes part of a client relationship that has its own record-keeping rules. Newsletter sign-ups stay until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@provect.co.uk and we will come back to you within a month. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
No marketing or profiling cookies here. The analytics we use is aggregated and cannot identify you. Cloudflare Turnstile may store a short-lived token in your browser to remember that a challenge has already passed; it is used only for that spam check, never for advertising.
Questions about any of this? Email info@provect.co.uk and a person will answer, not a form.
